FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

The lLE4278 is designed to create 5Vconstantvoltage and can provide the load current up to 200mA.The drop voltage of the lC is not more than 0.5V at 150mA

load current.The lC is designed to supply microprocessor systemsunder the severe conditions of automotive applications andtherefore equipped with additional protection functionsagainst over load and over temperature. Furthermore, theILE4278 can also be used in other applications where astabilized voltage is required.
